Attorney Carly Snavely of Chagrin Falls, OH; convicted criminal

The state of Ohio presented Carly L. Snavely with a law license in 2011 after she graduated from The Ohio State University Law School.

The Geauga County Bar Association found Carly guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Charged with two counts of forgery
• Pled guilty to attempted forgery and sentenced to jail
• Forged client’s signature on notice she lacked malpractice insurance
• Acted with selfish or dishonest motive
• Failed to advise client in writing she had no malpractice insurance
• Failed to advise client he may be entitled to refund re: hourly fee agreement
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to deposit client funds in interest-bearing account
• Failed to promptly distribute funds held in client trust account
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Carly by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2017) Carly practices with The Law Office of Carly L. Snavely LLC at 16740 Park Circle Drive in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
