Attorney Douglas Hanna of Wall Township, NJ; serial offender

 

The state of New Jersey presented Douglas B. Hanna with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School. 

 

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

 

It should be noted that Doug received one (1) complimentary reprimand and one (1) complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct in addition to the instances of misconduct set forth below.

 

Doug’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to properly supervise office bookkeeper
  • Allowed non-attorney to sign trust account checks
  • Failed to maintain client ledger books
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Negligence led to bookkeeper stealing $75,000

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

 

Doug’s 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to properly monitor client trust accounts
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary admonition (his third).

 

As we speak (ca. August 2017) Doug practices with Douglas B. Hanna PC at 1928 State Route 35 in Wall Township, New Jersey.
