Attorney Christopher Barber of Havertown, PA; drunken killer

The state of New Jersey presented Christopher K. Barber with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Widener University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Charged with driving under the influence (DUI0
  • Charged with one count of homicide by vehicle while intoxicated
  • Charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter
  • Charged with four counts of homicide by vehicle

  • Charged with reckless driving
  • Found guilty of two counts of homicide by jury
  • Guilty of careless driving, driving at unsafe speed and reckless driving by judge
  • Sentenced to 6-months in prison and 53-months of probation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2017) Chris practices at 2 Brookline Blvd in Havertown Pennsylvania.
