Attorney Leila Kilgore of Fredericksburg, VA; slacker

The state of Virginia presented Gordon Earl Hannett Jr. with a law license in 1988 after she graduated from the University of Richmond Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Leila guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board punished Leila by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. June 2017), Leila practices with Kilgore & Smith LLC at 1400 Princess Anne Street in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
