Attorney Christopher Elrod of Oakwood, GA; ethical dwarf

The state of Georgia presented Christopher David Elrod with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Georgia Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Frankie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, a client paid Elrod $4,500 to represent him in a divorce case. Elrod performed some work in the case but later became inaccessible. Elrod received a letter from another attorney advising that the client had retained her to represent him in the divorce, but she was unable to reach Elrod to arrange for substitution of counsel and he did not provide her with the client’s file.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
