Attorney Michael Kmetz of Norfolk; slacker

The state of Virginia presented Michael Denis Kmetz with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from California Western University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. November 2017), Mike practices with the Law Office of Michael D. Kmetz at 142 West York Street in Norfolk, Virginia.
