Attorney Michael Rathel of Orlando; cheating loser

The state of Florida presented Michael Kevin Rathel with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Pepperdine University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Mike!)
• Failed to timely file and pay personal/federal and corporate tax returns
• Bought home after conning seller to hold second mortgage for $100,000 Mike need to pay the purchase price of the home
• Promised to repay seller and pledged current home as security for mortgage
• Sole his home w/o telling seller or repaying seller’s second mortgage

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Mike practices with the Rathel Law Group at 545 Delaney Avenue in Orlando, Florida.
