Solicitor Leslie Gathercole of New South Wales; deceitful loser

The Law Society of New South Wales presented Leslie William Gathercole with a law license in 1987.

The Legal Services Commissioner found Les guilty of the following misconduct.

• Falsely attested to signatures of person unknown to him
• Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Services Commission punished Les by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
