The state of Michigan presented Eric J. Smith with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Detroit Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel found Eric guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Eric found it acceptable to treat with courtesy and respect a person involved in the legal process.
