Attorney Denton Ragland Jr. of Houston; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Denton E. Ragland Jr. with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The District 4-I Grievance Committee found Denton guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to return client phone calls for seven months
• Moved office without informing client
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Denton by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
