Attorney Scott Podvin of Miami Beach; ethical leprechaun

The State of Florida presented Scott Lowell Podvin with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of Miami Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to process and work expeditiously on client loan modification matters
  • Failed to respond to client calls
  • Tried to skirt his law firm around paying a debt to another lawyer by agreeing to a consent judgment know his law firm had already been dissolved
  • Court imposed sanction for frivolous conduct
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep clients informed of status of legal matter
  • Engaged in a pattern of actions willfully with the intent to deceive a trial court and deprive a plaintiff of his right to be heard by said court

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits and Attorney Thieves sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2017), Jenny practices with Podvin Law at 3921 Alton Road in Miami Beach, Florida.
