The state of North Carolina presented Jamie Faye Newsom with a law license in 2005 after she graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Jamie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain and disburse entrusted funds
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Conduct impaired clients’ ability to achieve goals of representation
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Jamie gifting her with a complimentary stayed 5-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jamie.
