Attorney Otis Bakke of Fort Worth; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Otis O. Bakke with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The 4-F Grievance Committee found Otis guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to make meaningful efforts to distribute settlement funds
• Kept client settlement check in his possession for many years
• Failed to resolve legal matters on client’s behalf

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Otis by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2017), Otis practices with the Bakke Law Firm at 8133 Sendero Trail in Fort Worth, Texas.
