Attorney Wiley Doran of Houston; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Wiley Doran with a law license in 1963 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) Law School.

The District 4-H Grievance Committee found Wiley guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to respond to client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Wiley by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
