Attorney Kathleen Barnett of Mansfield, TX; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Kathleen Barnett with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from Baylor University Law School.

The District 7-A Grievance Committee found Kathy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to her
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Kathy!)
  • Failed to meet various court deadlines on behalf of client
  • Failed to completely carry out obligations owed to client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Kathy by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As speak (ca. May 2018), Kathy practices at 309 East Broad Street in Mansfield, Texas.
