Attorney Bruce Scolton of Lakewood, NY; lazy loser, ethical twerp

The New York Appellate Court made an error in judgment when it presented Bruce Scolton with a law license in 1977.

In the recent past, Bruce sat as a Justice of the Harmony Town Court in Chautauqua County. While providing useless services to the taxpayers, his Dishonor was found guilty of the following misconduct by the Judicial Commission.

During the time he was providing useless services as a judge in Chautauqua County, the New York Judicial Commission found Bruce guilty of giving laziness a bad name by failing to dispose of small claims cases in a timely manner as set for the below.
  • Took 2 years to enter a judgment for $493.23 after an evidentiary hearing
  • Took 3 years to enter a judgment for $3,015 after an evidentiary hearing
  • Refused to take any action in a case for $2,200 for 26 months
Of course Lazy Bruce had no problem with cashing checks from the County for failing to provide even minimal judicial services.

As you see Bruce is one lazy Dude! In fact, he gives laziness a bad name!

As punishment for his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New York Judicial Commission gifted Bruce with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2011) Bruce the Loser is practice law with Erickson, Webb, Scolton & Hadju at 414 East Fairmont Avenue in Lakewood, New York.
