Attorney Alexander Higgins of Seattle; thieving loser

The state of Washington presented Alexander J. Higgins with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Washington Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Alex guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Rather than deposit client funds into designated law firm account he deposited into his own personal checking account
  • Illegally retained $4,937 of law firm funds for himself (thief)
  • Law firm forced Alex to resign

Because Attorney Misfits in Washington are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Alex was never prosecuted for grand theft or fraud.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Alex by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2017), Alex practices with the Law Offices of Alex J. Higgins at 2200 Sixth Avenue in Seattle, Washington.
