Attorney Edward King of Philadelphia; lying loser

The state of Pennsylvania presented Edward John King with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Duquesne University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Eddie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny found it acceptable to knowingly lie on his application for a law license when he failed to report the two times that he was arrested in North Wildwood, New Jersey.

It’s understandable that the comedians on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court doesn’t consider “lying” on an application to be an automatic disqualifier to obtain a law license since “lying” is seen as an attribute in the legal profession.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2013) Johnny practices with Baker Hostetler LLP at 2929 Arch Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
