The state of Virginia presented Bernice Marie Stafford Turner with a law license in 1990.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Bernice guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to deposit client funds into a trust account
• Failed to follow trust account requirements
• Failed to adequately explain fees to client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar punished Bernice by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
