Attorney Judy Moats of Fairfax, VA; slacker

The state of Virginia presented Judy Raye Moats with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Judy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Judy!)
• Failed to file an accounting for an estate
• Failed to make required disbursements from estate

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Judy by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Judy practices at 4041 University Drive in Fairfax, Virginia.
