Attorney Johnnie Tomlin of Virginia Beach; deceitful loser

The state of Virginia presented Johnnie Warren Tomlin with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Wake Forest University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Johnnie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Without his wife’s knowledge, Mr. Tomlin signed her name to a special power of attorney, which he used to purchase a beach house and obtain a mortgage (forgery)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on a three-judge panel of the City of Roanoke Circuit Court punished Johnnie by gifting her with a complimentary 5-day suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Virginia are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Johnnie was never criminally charged with fraud or forgery.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Johnnie practices with Tomlin Law PLLC at 6052 Providence Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
