Attorney Bruce Tough of Spring, TX; scofflaw

The state of Texas presented Bruce Coulson Tough with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Houston Law School.

The Texas Ethics Commission found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to disclose full name of contributor
• Failed to disclose actual payees of political expenditure
• Failed to disclose purpose of pollical expenditures

Subsequently, Bruce acknowledged that she had failed to comply with the statutory filing requirements as set forth above.

As a direct consequence of his violations of campaign laws, the apologists for Public Official Misfits sitting the Ethics Commission punished Bruce by imposing a complimentary $100 civil penalty.
