Attorney John Hannan of Houston; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented John K. Hannan with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The District 4-C Grievance Committee found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to prepare/file petition on client’s behalf

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Johnny.
