Attorney Richard Deck Jr. of El Paso; ethical misfit

The state of Texas presented Richard Deck Jr. with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Oklahoma City University Law School.

The District 10-B Grievance Committee found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to timely respond to discovery requests
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Dick!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Jimmy practices at 521 Texas Avenue in El Paso, Texas.
