Attorney Janet Stockard of Austin, TX; cheating liar

The state of Texas presented Janet Stockard with a law license in 1973 after she graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

The District 9-A Grievance Committee found Janet guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Knowingly engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Lacked candor [untruthful] in dealing with tribunal
  • Charged or collected excessive or illegal fee
  • Made a false statement of material fact or law to a tribunal

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Janet by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. Mary 2017), Janet practices at 3703 Cloudy Ridge Road in Austin, Texas.
