Attorney Richard Gladden of Denton, TX; ethical goblin

The state of Texas presented Richard Scott Gladden with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from California Western University Law School.

The 4-A District Grievance Committee found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Dick!)
• Failed to explain the matters to the extent necessary to permit his clients to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 12-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2017), Dick practices with the Law Office of Richard Gladden at 1200 West University Drive in Denton, Texas.
