Attorney Helene Bergman of Houston; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Helene Thaissa W. Bergman with a law license in 19787after she graduated from the John Marshall College of Law in Chicago.

An evidentiary panel of the District 4 Grievance Committee found Helene guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to her
• Failed to take any actions on client’s behalf

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Helene by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
