Attorney Sherry German of Houston; scofflaw

The state of Texas presented Sherry German with a law license in 1990 after she graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School.

The District 15 Disciplinary Committee found Sherry guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Sherry by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Sherry.
