Attorney Morris Belt Jr. of Missouri City, TX; ethical dwarf

The state of Texas presented Morris Belt Jr. with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

The District 4-J Disciplinary Committee found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain records of funds received on behalf of clients
  • Failed to provide requested records to ethics investigators

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2017), Mike practices at 2810 Hampton Drive in Missouri City, Texas.
