Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC): Today’s “Ass-Kisser” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC)

Today’s “Ass-Kisser” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Thom. In the past, he has been the recipient of one (1) Dumbo Award, which can be viewed by visiting the Dumbo Category.

In a recent (late March 2017) Thom announced that he felt bad for our so-called job creators. After donning a pair of Industrial Strength Knee Pads provided by Goldman Sachs, Thom laughingly feigned indignation that some members of Congress were seeking to “beat down” righteous organizations like Goldman Sachs, which he claimed was a benevolent force that goes to great lengths to “employ the little guy.”

Thom went on to say:

  • “There are a lot of people in this Congress that wanna just beat down job creators and employers ... People want to demonize Goldman Sachs.”
  • “That’s an easy thing to do, right? Just beat up on a financial services institution.”
  • “An institution that’s committed to, let me look at the general numbers here ― they have 36,500 employees.”
  • “There’s probably a lot of little guys in there.” They’ve contributed billions of dollars to nonprofits.”

Yeah Thom, the so-called “little guys” are employed as janitors, housemaids, nanny’s, chauffeurs, gardeners and cooks by the millionaires and billionaires employed by Godman Sachs.

To suggest that Goldman Sachs gives a shit about the “little guys” is like claiming that David Duke cares about the plight of African Americans.

Hopefully, Goldman Sachs has agreed to reimburse Thom for the costs he has incurred to date for his repeated purchases of large tubes of Industrial Strength ChapStick.

Congrats Thom; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s most disrespected “Ass-Kissers”; you are far too humble
