Attorney Michael Steiner of San Diego; convicted batterer

The state of California presented Michael Stephen Steiner with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from Western State University Law School.

The California State Bar Court found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Mike pled guilty to domestic battery. The criminal charge stemmed from a fight that occurred between Mike and his girlfriend at their home. The two got into an argument during which Mike pushed the woman against the wall. She was breastfeeding the couple’s baby at the time and Mike’s two older children were also present.

Mike left the house with the two older children but returned a few minutes later and the argument resumed. He grabbed her by the arm, grabbed her throat and pushed her into a wall. She had scrapes on her right arm, neck and

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year term of probation.
