Attorney James Boyd of Canyon Lake, CA; imbecile

The state of California presented James Richard Boyd with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego.

The California State Bar Court found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to perform legal services competently (imbecile)
• Advised client he didn’t have to appear at TRO hearings
• Failed to appear at three hearings on client’s behalf
• Bench warrants issued for client for failure to appear at three hearings
• Failed to tell client about bench warrants
• Failure to appear at custody hearing in the dissolution matter, another warrant was issued and Jimmy’s client was arrested and unnecessarily spent 12 hours in jail

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month term of probation.

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Jimmy practices with the Boyd Law Group at 23522 Schooner Drive in Canyon Lake, California, which is in Riverside County.
