Judge G. Darrell Russell, Jr. of Baltimore; misogynist, imbecile
Sadly, Judge Russell has been sitting as a Baltimore County District Judge since 1990.
In January 2011 the Maryland Commission on Judicial Disabilities found Russell guilty of the following misconduct in regards to a domestic violence matter.
During a hearing regarding a fellow charged with second-degree assault on his girlfriend that resulted in extensive physicial injuries to her (the domestic violence matter), the batterer’s attorney asked Darrell the Misogynist for a postponement so that the couple could get married. The imbecile instructed them, instead, to go get a marriage license.
When the second-degree assault (domestic violence) case up for trial before Darrell the Moron, he went ahead and performed the marriage ceremony in his court. Darrell then continued with the criminal trial against the abuser.
At the conclusion of the laughable trial conducted by Darrell the Imbecile, he found the abuser not guilty after the victim invoked her spousal right not to testify against her spouse. Darrell then made the following comment to the abuser in open court:
“I can’t sentence you as a defendant in any crimes you’re found guilty of. I earlier sentenced you to life – marriage to her.”
For his misconduct the enablers and apologist sitting on the Maryland Judicial Commission punished Darrell by gifting him with a private reprimand. Goshes and Gollies and Gee Whillickers, I bet that like really hurt, right?
As we speak (ca. June 2011) Darrell the Loser remains on the bench. What a joke!
