Attorney Christine Zarycky of Birmingham, MI; slacker

The state of Michigan provided Christine M. Zarycky with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from Wayne State University Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel found Christi guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to take any action on behalf of at least 17 clients
• Neglected legal matter entrusted to her
• Failed to advise client if status of legal matter
• Failed advise clients that no action would be taken on their behalf
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Christi by gifting her with a complimentary 179-day suspension of her law license. 

As we speak (ca. March 2017) Christi practices with Christine Zarycky PC at 261 East Maple Road in Birmingham, Michigan.
