Attorney Barbara Sosnick of Chevy Chase, MD; ethical misfit

The state of District of Columbia provided Barbara E. Sosnick with a law license in 1979 after she graduated from Georgetown University Law School.

The D.C. Court of Appeals found Barb guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to respond to court orders
• Failed to promptly transfer cleint file to successor counsel

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the D.C. Court of Appeals punished Barb by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. May 2017), Barb practices with the Law Office of Barbara Sosnick at 5425 Wisconsin Avenue in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
