Attorney Miriam Santos of Chicago; convicted fraudster

The state of Illinois presented Miriam Santos with a law license in 1981.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Miriam guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Miriam was convicted of mail fraud based on her admission that she had utilized treasurer office employees, on city time, to engage in various campaign activities, during her campaign for Illinois Attorney General.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Miriam by gifting her with a complimentary 2-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (February 2017), Miriam practices at 1911 North Mozart Street in Chicago, Illinois.
