Attorney Oscar Paguinto of the Philippines; thieving slacker

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Oscar P. Paguinto with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines Law School.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Oscar guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to account for all money collected for or from client
  • Failed to abide by duty of fidelity to client’s cause of action
  • Failed to refund unearned fees (thief)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to comply with oath as a lawyer
  • Accepted case he could not efficiently handler
  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Philippine Supreme Court punished Oscar by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Oscar practices in Tabuk, Kalinga Apayao, Philippines.
