Attorney Theodore Vialet of New York City; Dumbo, dishonest

The state of New York presented Theodore Anthony Vialet with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Teddy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
  • Failed to seek client objectives
  • Failed to carry out contract of employment
  • Failed to properly exercise professional judgment
  • Caused prejudice or damage to a client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Departmental Disciplinary Committee punished Teddy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Teddy practices at 225 Broadway in New York, New York.
