Attorney Sheryl Robinson of DC; ethical leprechaun

The state of New York presented Sheryl L. Robinson with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from George Washington University Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Sheryl guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, Southern Division, appointed Sheryl as a monitor to evaluate compliance with two consent judgments involving the City of Detroit.

Although Sheryl's position required her to remain neutral and independent from the parties, over the course of several years, she had “undisclosed and personal communications with then Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick” and, subsequently engaged in “intimate contact with the then Mayor.”

It was only after the Michigan Court confronted Sheryl with said facts that she voluntarily resigned her position.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Departmental Disciplinary Committee punished Sheryl by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Sheryl practices with The Wood Law Firm PLLC at 1629 K Street NW in Washington, DC.
