Judge James McBride of San Francisco; Il Duce Wannabee, ethical dwarf

 
Sadly, former Gov. Pete Wilson was given erroneous advice when he appointed Jimmy to the Superior Court in San Francisco in 1994.
 
In November 2008, the California Judicial Commission found Judge James McBride guilty of the following misconduct:
  • Repeatedly bused his judicial authority by setting trial dates w/o any advance notice to the DA
  • Repeated violations of defendants’ constitutional due process rights
  • Improperly relieved (discharged) defense counsel on numerous occasions
  • Made repeated sarcastic and denigrating comments to assistant prosecutors
  • Repeated rude and condescending statements to defense counsel
Laughingly, the Judicial Commission ruled that Jimmy “failed to uphold the integrity of the judiciary.” Hmmm, what integrity are these comedians speaking of?
 
For his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the California Judicial Commission punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.
 
As we speak (ca. May 2011) this certified loser remains on the bench.
