Attorney Jerry Settle of New Orleans; ethical dwarf

The state of Louisiana presented Jerry L. Settle with a law license in 1991.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Jerry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of client funds
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Jerry by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jerry.

As we speak (ca. February 2017) Jerry practices at 1465 North Broad Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.
