Attorney Bruce Willey of Cedar Rapids, IA; lying loser

The state of Iowa presented Bruce Willey with a law license in 1900 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Perpetuated a falsely statement
• Lied that payment was forthcoming
• Failed to obtain client’s informed consent re: conflict of interest
• Misconduct harmful to client
• Negligent in advising client regarding investment
• Failed to advise client to seek independent counsel re: conflict of interest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Bruce fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.willeylaw.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Bruce practices with the Willey Law Firm PC at 3519 Center Point Road NE in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
