Attorney Peter Vucha of Elgin, IL; ethical leprechaun

The state of Illinois presented Peter Ruhl Vucha with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Pepperdine University Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Engaged in conduct that prejudiced or damaged client
  • Engaged in overreaching regarding the attorney/client relationship
  • Engaged in conduct violating established rules of procedure
  • Engaged in conduct tending to defeat the administration of justice or to bring the courts or legal profession into disrepute

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 3-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Pete.

As we speak (February 2017), Pete practices with Roeser & Vucha at 920 Davis Road Suite in Elgin, Illinois.
