Attorney Mark Rigazio of Morris, IL; tax scofflaw

The state of Illinois presented Mark W. Rigazio with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Northern Illinois University Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Mark authorized authorizing the wages of four employees of his law office to be hidden as nontaxable expense reimbursements, filing false tax returns, and failing to withhold and pay the full amount of taxes.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 60-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Mark.

As we speak (June 2017), Stevie practices with the Rigazio Law Office at 220 West Main in Morris, Illinois.
