Jimmy Clanton rewrites “Go, Jimmy, Go” in honor of Donald Trump

FYI: Jimmy Clanton is an American singer who became known as the "swamp pop R&B teenage idol". His band recorded numerous hit songs such as "Just A Dream," reached number four on the Billboard chart and sold a million copies, along with “Venus In Blue Jeans” and of course “Go, Jimmy, Go.”

In an effort to show due respect for Donald “Trumporleone” Trump, Jimmy volunteered to do a rewrite of “Go, Jimmy, Go” in honor of The Don and it goes like this.

I told her when it comes to lying

I'm the nastiest serial liar in the world

She said you better stop lying if you want me to be your girl

And she said, "Go, Donny, go, "Go, Donny, go"

I told her when it comes to lying

I'm the best damn liar in the land

Well, she looked at me with a twinkle in her eyes

And then she took my hand

And she said, "Go, Donny, go, "Go, Donny, go"

I told her when it comes to lying

I ain't nothing but a lying fool

She started to giggle when I told her that I'd teach her

Things she'd never learn in school

And she said, "Go, Donny, go." She said, "Go, Donny, go"

Well, I lied her off the floor when she said, "Go, Donny, go"
