Donald “Trumporleone” Trump calls NFL commissioner a Dope

During a recent (late Jan 2017) conversation with The New York Times, The Don expressed his dismay at the NFL’s handling of Deflategate and called NFL commissioner Roger Goodell a “dope.”

FYI:Deflategate involved allegations that New England Patriot quarterback Tom Brady deflated or caused to be deflated footballs prior to the American Football Conference (AFC) Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts on January 18, 2015.

The Deflategate controversy led NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to issue an order suspending Brady for the first four games of the 2016 season.

The Don went on to whine about Patriots owner Robert Kraft, by saying:

• “He choked, just like Romney choked.”
• “You know what? They winked at me, said, ‘Bob when you make a deal, you should have gotten it all wrapped up.’”
• “Who ever heard of making a deal like that? Now you got this mess.”

The Don continued with his rant v. Goodell by saying.

• “The commissioner is a weak guy.” Trump said.
• “When he made the Ray Rice deal, everybody said: You’re stupid. You’re weak.”
• “And it was such a weak deal.”
• “So now he’s going overboard with their star, Brady.”
• “The commissioner is a dope. He’s a stupid guy.”

Who knows, maybe The Don will punish Mr. Kraft and Mr. Goodell by issuing the following executive orders. 

• Mr. Kraft: Repealing ownership of Patriots from 100% to 1.5%
• Mr. Goodell: Issuing a “You’re Fired” directive
