Attorney Thomas Plofchan, Jr., of Sterling, VA; scammer

The state of Virginia presented Thomas Kenneth Plofchan, Jr. with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Virginia Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, while Tommy was appealing a bankruptcy court decision to the Unites States District Court, he alleged: 1) that the bankruptcy judge rendered a decision without regard to the evidence because of his friendship with counsel for one of the parties and; 2) that the judge permitted ex-parte communications. The district court judge found that the party had never been a friend of the bankruptcy judge, that there was no ex-parte communication, and that the appeal was frivolous.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Tommy practices with the Westlake Legal Group at 46175 Westlake Drive in Sterling, Virginia.
