Attorney Thomas Castorina of L.A; convict, moron

Thomas Castorina was presented with a law license by the California Supreme Court in 1992 after graduating from UC Berkeley School of Law.

In September 2008, the California Bar Court found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct:
  • Criminal conviction for assault
  • Criminal conviction for trespass
  • Criminal conviction for petty theft
  • Being an incompetent attorney
  • Failing to communicate with clients
  • Failure to promptly return client files
  • Failure to cooperate with state bar’s investigation
Tommy’s criminal convictions came about when he was involved in providing forged sales receipts to The Gap store in Hollywood. Unbeknownst to Tommy the Thief, The Gap’s Loss Prevention office had circulated his picture throughout its seven stores for his repeat performances involving forged receipts.

While Tommy was attempting to defraud The Gap store in Hollywood, the following took place:
  • The salesperson recognized Tommy from an earlier incident
  • The salesperson then verified with Loss Prevention that Tommy was the one wanted by The Gap
  • While Tommy was waiting he approached another salesperson and asked to see the manager
  • When the employee went to get the manager, Tommy followed him into the rear storeroom, seeking return of his forged receipt
  • The Loss Prevention Agent Dennis Guevara told Tommy he was in an employee only area and needed to wait outside
  • Tommy then lied to Guevara by telling him he was a police officer
  • When Guevara told Tommy the police were on the way, he then admitted he was an attorney
  • Tommy then attempted to leave but Guevara told him he couldn’t until the police came
  • Tommy then assaulted Guevara in a failed attempt to escape
Tommy the Thief was subsequently found guilty of several criminal charges.

The certified enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Tommy for his criminal behavior by gifting him with a complimentary by placing him on probation for three years.

As we speak (ca. May 2011) Tommy the Thief operates under the name of Thomas Castorina & Associates at 3520 Overland Avenue in Los Angeles.
