The state of Arkansas presented William Steven Robinson with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Little Rock Law School.

 

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Prior to the following misconduct, Billy received one (1) complimentary caution and one (1) complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

  • Failed to abide by client decisions re: representation
  • Failed to consult with client as to the means to achieve client objectives
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly respond to client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Dick’s 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to take steps to expedite client litigation
  • Knowingly disobeyed obligation owed under rules of a tribunal
  • Used means that had no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden a third person, or
  • used methods of obtaining evidence that violate the legal rights of such a person
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

 

Dick’s 5th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly respond to client information requests
  • Failed to state basis for fee in contingent fee agreement
  • Failed to take necessary steps to protect client interests after termination
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
