Attorney Leonides Tungohan of Vancouver, CAN; ethical elf

The Law Society of British Columbia presented Leonides Tungohan with a law license in 2008.

The Law Society of British Columbia Disciplinary Committee found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly deal with clients’ money
• Failed to deposit funds paid to him into his trust account,
• Failed to properly record trust account transactions accurately
• Failed to maintain proper general ledger accounts    
• Failed to report a monetary judgment against him as required
• Failed to maintain books, accounts, and records in accordance with Law Society Rules
• Breached rules by withdrawing client funds from his pooled trust account prior to rendering a legal bill in 17 instances

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Greg by gifting him a fine in the amount of $3,000.

As we speak (ca. January 2017), Leo practices with Learlaw Tungohan & Company at 938 Howe Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
